Urban in Suburbia

At Michigan Theological Seminary, the diversity among both the student body and the faculty play a valuable role in preparing students for their futures.

“I would say it’s one of the key reasons I came here,” says Wilbur Medley.  “I had heard that there was a good mix of students.”

Medley believes that the diversity of backgrounds is a valuable asset to an MTS education.

“When you have people from different cultures and ethnic backgrounds come together,” he says, “ you gain the ability to talk about your beliefs from different points of view.”

The Master of Divinity student also appreciates the diversity of the faculty and the administrative staff at MTS.

“From the start, this felt like the right fit for me.”
