Research Pathways

The MTS–Michigan Library has constructed several research tools designed to assist students in common areas of research at MTS–Michigan. These pathways are essentially briefly annotated bibliographies of resources located in the MTS–Michigan Library in specific research areas. If you do not see a pathway in the area you are researching, please request assistance. A pathway can be constructed, when needed. Pathways are available online.

Each of these pathways are designed to introduce the student to resources in the particular field of study. The MTS–Michigan Library has a wealth of other resources in this field of study. Please visit the library during open hours or contact the library staff for further assistance.

Gospel Studies 
This pathfinder for Gospel Studies is based on resources that can be found in the Moody Theological Seminary–Michigan Library as well as on selected web sties. This guide is intended to assist the researcher in initial research on the Gospels and related studies.

NT Introductions and Surveys
This pathfinder for New Testament Introductions and surveys is based on resources that can be found in the Moody Theological Seminary–Michigan Library.  This guide is intended to assist the researcher in initial research on the New Testament and related studies.

NT Backgrounds
This pathfinder for New Testament Backgrounds is based on resources that can be found in the Moody Theological Seminary–Michigan Library.  This guide is intended to assist the researcher in initial research on the New Testament and related studies.

Hermeneutics 
This pathfinder for hermeneutics is based on resources available in the Moody Theological Seminary–Michigan Library. This guide is intended to assist the researcher in initial research in hermeneutics and exegesis.

Systematic Theology 
This pathfinder for systematic theology is based on resources available in the Moody Theological Seminary–Michigan Library. This guide is intended to assist the researcher in initial research in systematic theology.

Missiology 
This pathfinder for Missiology Studies is based on resources that can be found in the Moody Theological Seminary–Michigan Library as well as on selected web sties. This guide is intended to assist the researcher in initial research in missions and related studies.

Ecclesiology This pathfinder for Ecclesiology is based on resources that can be found in the Moody Theological Seminary–Michigan Library. This guide is intended to assist the researcher in initial research in the study of doctrines related to the church, including issues concerning ordinances, worship, the emerging church and biblical ecclesiology.

Women in Ministry This pathfinder for Women in Ministry is based on resources that can be found in the Moody Theological Seminary–Michigan Library as well as on selected web sites. This guide is intended to assist the researcher in initial research on women in ministry.

Worship
This pathfinder for the study of Worship is based on resources that can be found in the Moody Theological Seminary–Michigan Library as well as on selected web sites. This guide is intended to assist the researcher in initial research in worship studies.  This guide was prepared with the assistance of BRE students David Manwiller and Mark White.

This pathfinder for online sources in theological study is designed to provide the user with access to free citations, abstracts and full-text documents for the purposes of general research.
