MTS is grounded in the authority of the Bible

One of the core beliefs of MTS is that the Bible is God’s Word.
Our objective is to equip students to handle the Word of God with precision and passion.

“Our students say that they profit from learning the handle the Word of God well,” says Paul Wilson, Seminary Chaplain at MTS. “They learn to understand and communicate it with confidence.”

The rigorous, non-denominational academic setting at MTS supports that effort.

“Our students come to MTS from various cultural and denominational setting,” he says, “which provides a rich context for collaborative learning.”

In Wilson’s view, theological understanding should be a work of the whole person—not merely the product of reason.

Therefore, “Theology should teach us how to live—to live relationally, righteously, compassionately and Christ-like,” he says. “Knowledge that does not transform body, soul and spirit is only intellectual speculation.”
