Announcement of Dr. Bruce W. Fong’s Resignation

Dr. Bruce Fong tendered his resignation as president of Michigan Theological Seminary to the Board of Directors on Thursday, March 12, 2009.  We are saddened by his resignation as his ministry was widely appreciated and the seminary passed several key milestones during his tenure.

We wish Dr. Fong and his family God’s best as they make decisions regarding their future service to Him. Please remember to pray for Dr. Fong, his family and the seminary during this time of transition.

In closing, with the quality faculty, staff, students, Board and supporters God has touched to be part of this ministry, we believe the best years are still to come.  We look forward to all God has planned for Michigan Theological Seminary.
