A Diamond is Found
Submitted: October, 2008
We are grateful to all of the generous donors who support Michigan Theological Seminary. This Fall, two of our donors enrolled to take classes and were so thrilled with the training they are receiving, they offered a scholarship for the new students who enrolled in the 2009 Winter semester. We are excited to report that we have 230 students registered for the winter 2009 semester, with 63 new students. There is a great energy in the air and an excitement among all of our student body. It is amazing to see how God works in and through the lives of His people who hear his voice and respond. Read the story below from two such people. Thanks Denny and Susan!!
You may have seen news reports and pictures recently about a man who found a 4.68 caret diamond in Arkansas. There was a buzz of excitement in the news media and a very happy couple who had made the discovery. The value to the finders was likely to be very significant.

We have had a similar experience this Fall. You see, we found an incredible diamond hiding in a neighborhood in Plymouth, Michigan, right near here on Ann Arbor Trail.
MTS! Michigan Theological Seminary is a true gem of higher education devoted to teaching graduate work concerning God’s Word.
We began taking classes in September in order that we may enjoy a more abundant understanding of biblical teachings. We take two classes on Monday nights that are part of the Graduate Certificate in Bible program. The classes are very stimulating with strong teaching from our professor, enhanced by a class of well-prepared students. The classes are made up of twenty to thirty talented individuals from all walks of life who are eager to learn.
We would like to share our special diamond with you. We invite you to prayerfully consider joining us at MTS as students of God’s Word. To encourage your decision for new students, we will be pleased to cover your tuition for your first class of the winter semester. Come join us at MTS. There is no better time than now!
Sincerely,
Denny and Susan Nystrom
