Dr. Jim Wood is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Moody Theological Seminary–Michigan . 

Dr. Wood began teaching classes in counseling psychology at MTS-Michigan in the fall of 2001.  In addition to that he has taught and counseled for a number of years at a Christian school, worked as a staff psychologist at Pine Rest Christian Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and has also worked as a consulting psychologist for various school districts, church and missions organizations.  Additionally, he has maintained a private clinical practice for over 15 years.  Dr. Wood’s private practice has focused on work with children, adults and families.

Dr. Wood and his wife, Renee, have two children and one Labradoodle.
