"More than a degree, MTS–Michigan prepares its students for Real Impact."  When taking charge of an urban ministry, it’s especially important that efforts go beyond simply speaking and sharing experiences.  “You also need to walk the walk. You have to be careful that you’re not, as they say, sharing unlived truths,” says Terry Robinson, Director of the Here’s Life Inner City urban ministry in Detroit.  “We’re dealing with a lot of poverty, and people in crisis. And they’ll sniff it out if you’re not genuine.” Robinson credits his MTS–Michigan training for his ability have real impact on the lives he touches.
