Chapel Schedule

Chapels at Moody Theological Seminary–Michigan the 2009-10 academic year will be on the theme of the Word of God and Prayer. The early apostles said, “We…will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word,” Acts 6:4b.

The Fall Term chapels will feature the Scriptures with a three part series on “The Word as Revealed Truth” in October followed by three of student preachers in November.

The Winter Term will focus on prayer and ministry with three alumni preachers in January followed by three presentations on the theology and practice of prayer in February. The last series of chapels in March will be a Missions Emphasis Week with Send International.

The mission for chapels at MTS–Michigan is to worship the Lord, hear from his Word and celebrate community. Chapels are from 7:45 to 8:15 p.m. and the schedule for all chapels is posted on the Seminary calendar.

Chapel attendance by staff, faculty and students is not required but is expected. If you are on campus during the time of a scheduled chapel you are expected to attend.
