Tuition and Fees
Note: We are in the process of transitioning our website as part of merging with Moody Bible Institute to become Moody Theological Seminary–Michigan. The content of this page will be updated soon. Read about Moody Theological Seminary.
Tuition for the Fall 2009 through Spring 2010 terms is $390 per credit hour. Audited courses are $195 per credit hour.
Tuition and fees are required to be paid before a student attends class. If a student will have difficulty making payment, he/she must make arrangements with the Business Office before attending class. Payments can be made in cash, credit card, check, or bank/educational loans (contact the Financial Aid Office for further information). All payments must be made in U.S. dollars.
Good financial planning is important as the seminarian prepares for the ministry. Prompt payment is the obligation of the student. MTS–Michigan renders all services in good faith and assumes the student's commitment concerning financial responsibilities. Each student can estimate yearly costs by consulting the financial information listed below, or by contacting the Business Office.

Refund Policy
MTS–Michigan will refund tuition for any dropped courses (if approved by the Registrar). The refund, however, is based on a pro-rata portion of the tuition, as follows:
Week 1 = 100% tuition refund
Week 2 = 85% tuition refund
Week 3 = 70% tuition refund
Week 4 = 60% tuition refund
Week 5 = 50% tuition refund
Week 6 = 0% tuition refund
The student must process an Add/Drop with the Registrar when a change is made in class schedule after registration. The course is dropped when the Course Change form is completed, signed, and dated by the Registrar. The completion date of the Course Change form determines the basis for the pro rata refund. There is a $10 fee for any dropped course.
